A Fabulous app alternative
Fabulous and Odyssey, compared on what each one is for. No score.
Fabulous is a habit and routine app: morning, afternoon, and evening, a coaching library, and the option to book a person. Odyssey is an AI life coach for iPhone. The comparison below uses what each one publicly says, as of October 2026. Their site says Fabulous began at Duke University's Center for Advanced Hindsight.
Odyssey is introduced on the home page. AI life coach apps are compared on the roundup, Rocky is covered as a Rocky AI alternative, and Liven, Purpose, and Unlimits are compared together. Habitica, the game rather than the routine, is a Habitica alternative. A goal that needs milestones rather than a habit grid is on the goal setting page, and the check-in is on the accountability page.

Fair is fair
Where Fabulous is the better choice.
Fabulous is the better fit if you want a routine to walk through: morning, afternoon, and evening, a habit tracker, an on-demand coaching library, and the option to book a session with a person. It also runs on Android and Apple Watch. Odyssey does not build habit routines, and it does not offer a human coach.
Which one
How to pick.
Pick Odyssey if the missing piece is a coach rather than a routine. You choose one of five, they build the milestones and three plan drafts in onboarding, and the follow-up comes back to that plan. iPhone only, text only, subscription required after onboarding, no free trial. Plan differences are on the pricing page.
The button goes to the App Store, which shows the price in your currency.
Questions
What is a good Fabulous app alternative?
It depends on the job Fabulous is doing for you. If you want morning and evening routines, a habit tracker, and a library of coaching audio, Fabulous already does that, including on Android. If you want an AI life coach who builds a plan and comes back to it, Odyssey is the alternative: iPhone, five coaches, milestones and three plan drafts in onboarding, then follow-up on a rhythm you set. There is no free trial.
How is Odyssey different from Fabulous?
Fabulous describes itself as a habit and routine app, with an on-demand coaching library and the option to book a person. Odyssey is an AI life coach. Fabulous is on iPhone, Apple Watch, and Android.
Is Fabulous an AI life coach?
Not in the pages checked for this comparison. Their site and store listings describe routines, a coaching library, a goal tracker, and a session you can book with a person. They do not describe a conversational AI coach. Odyssey does: five coaches, on iPhone, in text.
